2017 Training at Pope HS

The GLOA Board works hard to ensure that members receive the best training possible as well as regular observation and feedback.  Our goal is to empower officials who work at honing their craft, assist them to incorporate new skills and strategies as well as to provide members with opportunities to advance to their officiating career.  In the past, the association has tried to hold training sessions during the regular season to supplement the January sessions, but due to the phenomenal growth of lacrosse here in Georgia, attendance has been spotty.

As a result. the Board has agreed that ALL members must attend three days of training this January. Please be cognizant of these dates as you plan your  schedule. If there is an unavoidable conflict, makeup sessions will be available.

1. Saturday, January 7: Classroom sessions 9 am to 1 pm. All members
2. Sunday, January 8: Classroom sessions 9 am to 1 pm. All members
3. Sunday, January 15: Classroom sessions and Field Training: 9 am to 4 pm. All members
