The South Carolina Lacrosse Officials Association will be holding a rookie official training the weekend of January 12-13 at the SCAD Athletic Facility 3650 Speedway Blvd, Hardeeville, SC 29927. The facility is located just across the river the Hardeeville SC. For those interested in becoming officials in the Savannah area, this training will allow you to work GHSA games assigned by GLOA.
Please email SCLOA Trainer Tom Greig ([email protected]) if you are interested and will be able to attend. New officials are required classroom sessions on Saturday and the field training on Sunday. It is possible that an alternative date for the field session may also be scheduled. If you are interested but have a conflict as SCLOA may be able to work something out with another session.If any members knows of anyone interested in officiating lacrosse in this area, please pass this info along!
