USA Lacrosse is now accepting applications for the Michael Breschi Scholarship, awarded annually to two graduating high school seniors who plan to attend college and are the child of an active lacrosse coach or official. Established in 2007 in memory of Michael Breschi, the scholarship honors his legacy and impact on the game.
This is a one-time scholarship award of $2,500 for each of two recipients. An amount of $2,500 will be issued to the scholarship winner’s college/university after the transcript of the first semester/quarter has been received by USA Lacrosse. Scholarship winners are responsible for checking with their college or university to verify that acceptance of this scholarship meets all institutional regulations, particularly with regards to financial aid packages. If the recipient is a scholarship-athlete, the scholarship must meet all NCAA regulations as they pertain to that institution and the student-athlete.
Applicants must submit an online application along with a high school transcript, resume, personal statement, and letters of recommendation. Applications close July 15. Learn more and help support the next generation of the lacrosse community.
