GLOA will hold a training class for anyone wishing to become a GHSA high school lacrosse official on August 23, 2014 at The Marist School 3790 Ashford Dunwoody Rd NE Atlanta, GA 30319. The class will run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Participants will spend a full day in the classroom and will work weekly games with veteran officials throughout the fall. There will be a break for lunch.
Prior experience with either lacrosse or officiating is helpful, but not required. Must be 18 years or older.

The cost of the training is $55 ($30 GLOA dues, $25 training materials) and registration is available at online. Following the class, new officials will work games throughout the fall season with veteran mentors in order to prepare them for the Spring season.
