The GLOA Board will hold elections at the end of the Spring season. All members seeking a spot on the board run for at-large seats, the board then elects their officers. There are currently four seats up for election: Current members David Clements, Peter Fleury, Greg Hite, Patrick Joyce all plan to run for re-election.
If you are interested in running for a position, please email GLOA Secretary Landon Hunsucker at [email protected] a paragraph briefly describing your experience and vision for the Association by May 1.
We would ask that all candidates try and attend the End of Season Banquet so that they may address the membership. However if you are unable to attend, please consider recording a short video we can play.
Elections will be held online; it will begin Monday May 20 and end by Friday, June 3. Per the Bylaws (Section 2.3) the four candidates with the largest vote totals will be elected to serve on the Board.
Please note that due to the recent expansion of the GLOA Board from 9 to 11 members last year, the board has voted to extend the term of office from two years to three. Those not up for election will be grandfathered in to a three year term.
