Atlanta’s Lakewood Stadium will be the site for all the 2017 Lacrosse state championships, with the Class A-5A boys and girls title games taking place on Saturday, May 13, while the finals for boys and girls in Class 6A-7A will be played on Saturday, May 20.
The stadium, which underwent a $17 million renovation in 2012, is the largest stadium in the APS, now features new locker rooms, spectator seating, lights and artificial turf (lined for both boys and girls lacrosse). The GHSA is excited about using this fine facility to showcase high school lacrosse.
