As the 2025 high school regular season draws to a close, the Georgia Lacrosse Officials Association (GLOA) is pleased to once again offer summer lacrosse camp scholarships in memory of Ron Mallonee.
Ron was a charter member of the GLOA who passed away in 2004 after a brief battle with cancer. In his memory, the GLOA established the Ron Mallonee Scholarship Fund. The fund assists players who best exemplify Ron’s selfless attitude towards the game of lacrosse and allow them to attend a summer lacrosse camp.
The GLOA will offer camp scholarships for the Georgia Tech Boys Lacrosse Camp which takes place June 3-6, 2025. More information about the Georgia Tech camp is available online here.
Since the Ron Mallonee Fund’s inception in 2005, we have provided scholarships to over one-hundred deserving young men to attend a camp. It has been an honor and privileged to serve Ron’s memory in this way. Please click here for more information about the fund.

The annual summer camp registration is open for boys ages 7-17. The 2025 camp will be held at Emory University as GT turf is being replaced June 3-6.
