The 2014 Georgia Games will he held July 19-20 at the Cartersville Soccer Clash Complex 152 Milner Road Cartersville, GA 30120. Created in 1989 as part of the effort to win the bid for the 1996 Olympic Games, the Georgia State Games holds events and tournaments in about 50 different sports events, each held at a different venue.
Known as the “people’s games” the Championships are open to Georgians of all ages and skill levels. Last year the tournament fielded 65 teams. Teams will range in age from U11 to U19.
