The GLOA, in partnership with the Georgia Lacrosse Foundation (GLF), Metro Atlanta Youth Lacrosse Association (MAYLA) will hold a boys lacrosse officials certification clinic online.
This training is for youth officials (14-18 and still in high school) who are current US Lacrosse members.
Adults (18 and over and graduated from HS) who wish to officiate with the Georgia Lacrosse Officials Association do need not be US Lacrosse members, but they are HIGHLY encouraged to join.
Session 1: Tuesday October 13, 2020 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Session 2: Tuesday October 20, 2020 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Field Training: Saturday October 24 Burnt Hickory Park 8650 Cartersville Highway Dallas GA
The cost of the training is $50. All participants will receive an 2020 NFHS Rule Book, USL Mechanics Manual, laminated officials pregame, Fox 40 Finger Whistle, and a Penalty Flag.
Participants must attend both online class sessions, complete all assignments, including passing the rules exam and attending a field training on October 24 at Burnt Hickory Park 8650 Cartersville Highway Dallas GA.
Participants who have completed all the requirements will sign up to officiate one game that day via Signup Genius, dates and times TDB.
