The dates for the 2015 GLOA Board election process have been set. There are 5 open Board positions. This year. Eric Rudolph, Peter Fleury, and Patrick Joyce are running for re-election to the Board, and there are two unfilled slots.
The Board of Directors is currently compiling a list of proposed nominations, and any current member in good standing may nominate another member or themselves per the Association’s bylaws. Nominations must be received by the GLOA Secretary, David Clements, by email or letter by December 15, 2014. Nominees will then be contacted to ascertain their interest in serving (if elected) and solicited for a current bio for the election ballot.
Ballots, with attached bios, will be emailed to all members in good standing eligible to vote on January 15, 2015. Ballots must be returned by January 22, 2015 to be counted. Those 5 nominees that receive the 5 highest vote totals will be elected to the GLOA Board of Directors.
